ADORABLE!!

I love when customers send me pictures of their kids in my outfits! Isn't this child ADORABLE! This was a first birthday outfit. The tank is hard to see but it has the initial A on it and there are 3 little crystals on the neckline. The tutu also has crystals throughout but the photos don't show that either. I LOVE making special occasion outfits! Especially for girls. I am such a "girly" girl and I have two boys. I love making things for boys but it is the girl items that I really like!

Both the kids are out of school today and they are already "bored". It is far to early to "play". We do have swimming lessons in awhile and I need to go through the house and find things to place in my mother in law's garage sale this weekend. Maybe they can help?

Fall

Here are a few of my fall items. I have made several of the pumpkin onesies and people seem to really like them. I am in love with the poncho. It is a pattern called Poncho Pizazz that I got at JoAnns. If I had a girl she would definately have one! The picture doesn't do it justice. It is alot easier than a coat because you don't have to deal w/ any zippers. You just slip it over the head and your off! It is made of fleece and is super warm. It even has a hood. Fall is my favorite time of year. I love living in a state where you really get to experience the seasons. Have a great Tuesday!

Here are some pictures of the things that I made for the shower I went to today.

I think they turned out really cute. The litte bag you see is a diaper clutch. It holds a travel wipes container and up to 3 size 5 diapers. It is really handy to just throw in your diaper bag to have all of your diapers and wipes in one spot. This way you don't have a bunch of crinkled up diapers all over the place! I loved them when I had my little guys in diapers. I don't have much sewing on the agenda this week. We are having company in town on Wednesday and a bunch of people over here on Friday for dinner. I think this week I need to be cleaning. I wish I was the type of mom where I could find time for sewing, cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids etc., etc., without feeling super rushed or stressed out! Do moms like that exist? I feel like I really need to enjoy my kids more and take my time more. Why does life feel so rushed all the time? I am not complaining-I have a wonderful life and wouldn't change it for anything! I just need to enjoy the little things more. Until my next project....

Quiet House

Ahhhh, both kids are down for the day and my house is very quiet right now. I finally have 2 seconds to myself w/o someone crying, fighting, asking for a snack etc., etc., etc. I have been very busy making these neck tie onesies for the holiday mart next weekend. I wish I had time to make so much more. Someday I will have that kind of time. Addie Rose Boutique has a booth at the holiday mart and will be taking some of my things. There are a couple of boutique blankets, poncho's and these onesies. Keep your fingers crossed that my things will sell and my name will get out there a little bit. I also made these the sock monkey and cowboy outfit for my mother in law to give at a baby shower this weekend. I need to make something for myself to give at that baby shower too! I have an idea and will post pictures when I am finished. I realize that my photography skills are less than average. In my defense, the lighting in my basement when it is night time isn't very good. I will work on making my pictures clearer. Now I think I will go soak my body in a hot tub and enjoy the silence for awhile.

This is my favorite time of day. It is very early morning before the sunrise and before anyone in the house is awake. I know I am weird! I just love to have my coffee in silence and get prepared for the day ALONE! Lots of sewing today. I have to make a TON of onesies for Addie Rose so she can take them to holiday mart. I also have a baby shower that I need to whip something up for! I will send pictures soon.
